Over 40’s State Championships

The Central Coast Cyclones proudly fielded four teams at the 3‑day T20 State Championships in Wollongong, with every side representing the club with determination, sportsmanship, and unmistakable Cyclones spirit. It was a fantastic showcase of depth across our 040s program and a powerful reflection of the culture we continue to build.

Division 1 – The Cyclones finished the tournament as unbeaten champions, sealing the title with a hard‑fought 6‑run victory in the final to be crowned State Champions 🙌🎉🏆

Cyclones Gold – Gold secured two strong wins across the tournament and finished in a commendable 5th place, demonstrating consistency, resilience, and a competitive edge throughout the three days.

Division 2 – Red & Blue – Our Div 2 Cyclones Red and Blue sides faced off in the playoff for 7th and 8th place, with Blue taking the win in a spirited, good‑natured contest that highlighted the depth and camaraderie within the squad.

It was a great overall tournament, exceptionally well delivered by Greater Illawarra, whose organisation and hospitality ensured a seamless and enjoyable event for all involved.
